Many brides have asked how far in advance of the wedding day should they book their wedding photographer.
Brides are bombarded with advice about wedding photographers including when they should book their wedding photographer. I have just taken a booking to photograph a wedding in Cornwall in October of 2015 which is nineteen months before the wedding.
Once brides have chosen and booked the wedding venue, other services can be booked in order for brides to get what they want. There are masses of wedding photographers who will photograph weddings in Cornwall
and many brides get married in Cornwall who do not live here so my advice would be to do your online research and find photographers websites that feature photography that you like and make a short list of your favourites. Then make your enquiry and maybe give each photographer a call and secure your wedding date as soon as possible.
Talented wedding photographers who are easily found on the web will get booked up as in my example several months before the wedding.
Much of my wedding photography is for brides arranging their wedding from out of the county and this year for the first time in my career as a wedding photographer the majority of brides have booked me to photograph their wedding without speaking to or meeting me; I guess the website has done its job.
There is no ideal time in the run up to a wedding for brides to book their photographer or any other services but if it was me, I’d want to book as soon as possible for peace of mind.
When to book your wedding photographer, how far in advance of the wedding should you book your photographer, popular photographers get booked up quickly.
