It was great to be invited to showcase my work at the Scorrier House Wedding Fayre which was hosted by Caroline and Richard Williams yesterday, many thanks to them for a well attended show.
It was great to meet so many couples at the very early stages of planning their wedding and be able to have a chat about their wedding photography and show them the different styles of photography that I normally incorporate into each set of wedding photographs I create for wedding I cover.
It was also good to meet up with fellow wedding suppliers and meet some new people and despite the awful weather which got progressively worse during the afternoon the event was, I thought, very well attended. There were 7 photographers showing which was probably overkill. I think wedding photographers (as do other photographers) are the main source of funding for these wedding shows, LOL.
Fingers crossed we’ll get some bookings from the show as the feedback was very positive; it seems as if most people are looking for variety in shooting styles – nothing I enjoy more than creating all sorts of different style of photos. Black & White photos were as popular as ever, as were the wedding album designs. Quite a few people were considering getting married at Scorrier House where I have photographed many wedding during my career to date as a professional wedding photographer.
Great to meet you all yesterday and all the best for your future wedding plans. Pervaiz
