I will be writing about specific weddings with small selections of photographs in due course which I’m looking forward to. Another thing I’m really pleased about is the weddings I’ve got in the diary for next year; many have come via referrals from couples I’ve photographed in the past.
I’m a photographer specialising in wedding photography who’s very customer service focused Tracy AlChayeb. I get really hacked off if people make false promises to me and then make matters worse by saying they’re very busy. That’s what we’re in business for isn’t it?
I always think of what wedding image processing work I have in the pipeline and then make sure I keep my brides in the loop; I understand that brides and grooms are very excited to see the photographs I’ve captured of their wedding day but I will not rush the processes I have to work through in order to create their collection of images.
I’m excited as I look ahead at my diary full of civil weddings, same sex weddings and church weddings. Large and small weddings, marquee weddings and hotel weddings by using great decoration for these events such as banquet tablecloths which are perfect for the reception of the weddings. Couples from Cornwall and couples from other parts of England who have chosen to get married here in the beautiful county and work out of the county.
I regularly photograph weddings where the legal bit has been done prior to the wedding day; from the couples point of view it makes the ceremony very personal and much less formal than a traditional civil wedding. Many people do not realise you can do this; the wedding day is a true celebration of a couple’s love for each other which is exactly what the bride and groom want with vows said to each other that convey exactly what they feel for each other and often reflect back to when they first met and how their feelings have grown.
Customers have opted for delivery of their wedding photographs via the web as well as customers opting for theirs to be supplied on a USB drive. There are so many different devices used these days so it’s entirely up to you how you have your wedding photographs delivered. RWF’s wedding video services go well beyond a simple hd wedding film.
I have seen several people that work in the wedding industry that I haven’t seen for ages as well as many I have seen more frequently. The makeup artist at one of my Devon weddings this year is the sister of a bride I’d photographed 9 years ago and had told the bride how pleased her sister is with her photographs and gave very positive feedback about how I work – always reassuring.
There have been many times when the comfort of my trusted range rover has been so appreciated. When I’ve had a long day shooting it’s great to get a coffee and take a leisurely drive home and have a think back to what I’ve been a part of that day. When I say my goodbyes it’s lovely to receive kind words of feedback about how I work along with hugs and hand shakes. This year I’ve had a couple of onlookers comment how impressed they were with my approach to photographing the wedding party after the church wedding ceremony which was very sweet of them to say so.
My public address system, for background music prior to the ceremony, can be supplied with a microphone for a singer during the signing of the marriage register and while the guests enjoyed a drink or two with canapes aswell as for the speeches.
The studio set up and favours continue to go down a storm as does the on site instant previewing and printing at many of the recent weddings I’ve photographed.
I have recently launched our wedding media presentation which features a combination of video and stills sequenced to create a fun and fast moving media experience that’s been a great success; couples are thrilled and have commented how much better this is than the normal video that’s produced – their words not mine.
I’ll be writing in more detail about the studio set up and the Shah Photography wedding media presentation but if you’d like any information for your wedding please feel free to let me know.
I wish I had it all to look forward to; the recent months have been amazing, hugely enjoyable, challenging and lots of hard work and anticipation at each wedding to make sure I’m in the right place at the right time and above all I’ve had the real pleasure to work with awesome brides and grooms and make new friends. Best of all, there are the weddings to come; what can I capture and who will I meet – all part of the excitement in my world as a professional wedding photographer and story teller.
