Artistic Wedding Photographer Cornwall

Photographing weddings to me involves many different genres of photography. I genuinely enjoy them all not least the artistic approach or style to much of the imagery that tells the story of each wedding.

This shot was taken in the grounds of the couple's St Ives wedding venue Tregenna Castle; low sun creating the gorgeous long shadows of the couple.

I like the balance of the photograph. The shadows give depth to the image and makes for an unusual approach to featuring the wedding dress detail and brides bouquet.

The light on the sea, the drama of the clouds with the sun shining through, the rocks on the left and the position of the couple create this relaxing image with great depth.

The couple would have chosen their wedding venue partly because of the spacious grounds and settings for great photography backdrops

Each collection of photographs I take will include artistic imagery with backdrops at the wedding venue and surrounding area nearby be it a beach, coastal view, iconic tin mines, woodland scene or gorgeous country side Cornwall has to offer couples getting married.
